The Heart of the Grove, and Reaching Beyond

Youth Education Opportunities
SUNDAY MORNINGS
9:30 – 10:20

Sunday School
Children from age three through 5th grade are introduced to their faith by a curriculum entitled Seasons of the Spirit. They are guided through the church’s year with all its symbolism and stories. The curriculum is “hands on” and offers children a variety of ways to grow deeper in their faith.

The Journey to Adulthood
This youth ministry program guides young people through the often joyous and often challenging years of growing from childhood into adulthood. It is divided into three segments: “Rite 13” for young people in middle school, “J2A” for young people in the early years of high school, and “Young Adults in the Church” (or “YAC’s”) for young people in the later years of high school. St. Stephen’s currently offers Rite 13 and J2A which will each meet from 9:30-10:20 on Sunday mornings with social events at other times throughout the year.

Nursery Care
Nursery care will be available for children under three from 9:30 a.m. through the conclusion of the 10:30 mass. Our nursery is located in the church building; parents are asked to sign their children in and provide their cell phone numbers to the attendants so that if the need arises they can be located while attending the adult education offerings.
